The 2010 14and1.com National Championships!
NOTICE TO QUALIFIERS: If paying entry by check I will need to recieve the check by May 1, 2010. Those that want to pay entry at the event you MUST bring cash. This rule is place so that I have time to clear checks.
Dates are now set for the 2010 Nationals!
June 11th,12th &13th 2010
Doors open at 10am Fri. the 11th for registration and players meeting and draw around 11am for the 14and1.com Nationals main event. We will start immediately after the draw. On Saturday there is a mini tourney for players already out of the main event.

The 14and1.com Nationals MAIN EVENT is a handicap event for players that qualify by finishing in the top 2 in any 14and1.com sanctioned league! The entry fee for qualified players is $125 to the Nationals and is payable to 14and1.com using our mailing address found on the contact page. Qualifiers can send in their entry fees through their league operator or send it in themselves. Entry fees are 100% paid out. There are no weekly fees collected by 14and1.com so the $125 entry fees make up the Nationals prize pool, we do however provide trophies to 12th place.
Mini tourney on Sat. is single elimination using handicaps, $20 entry.

For the more budget minded ($40 to $80 night) there are some good inexpensive alternatives. The best source for discount rooms that are all within 5 or 6 miles of the AC Billiard Club is priceline.com or achotelexperts.com:
Visit www.priceline.com and click on the hotel link. Use Atlantic City, NJ as location. Howard Johnson or Super 8 in Absecon are not bad, also a couple in Galloway, both Absecon and Galloway are about 6 miles from the AC Billiard Club. Pleasantville and Atlantic City West are also close by.
Or visit www.achotelexperts.com and enter your dates, then search by lowest price, some good deals pop up on here.
NOTE: SAVE$$$ on priceline or achotelexperts - If you wait until 2 or 3 days before the event to book a room on priceline.com or achotelexperts.com you will see the prices drop by 30-50% because they adjust for unfilled rooms for that week. I did this last year and got 4 nights for $180 with taxes!
There are so many hotels in the area that chances of getting shut out of a room is zero. When I did this last year virtually every hotel in the area had rooms available at half the price if if you book 2 or 3 days before the event.
